The Challenge

Form 10’s customers operate in high-demand environments where mission-critical IT devices are pushed to their limits. Heavy daily utilization leads to frequent IT device failures, often involving legacy devices with obsolete or highly scarce replacement parts. Furthermore, responsibly decommissioning assets that are truly beyond economic repair presents a major bottleneck. Without specialized e-waste expertise, navigating the logistics, costs, and compliance mandates of hazardous materials disposal strains internal corporate resources.

The Solution

Launched in 2017, the Form 10 Repair Depot delivers seamless IT device lifecycle management for our enterprise partners while directly advancing corporate sustainability goals.

The Repair Depot Process
To eliminate operational downtime, Form 10 operates an Advanced Replacement Program. When a device fails, the customer receives an immediate replacement unit from our inventory, allowing their business to run uninterrupted. The malfunctioning device is then routed to our specialized facility in Tampa, Florida, where expert technicians diagnose and restore the device.

Our team specializes in complex component sourcing, utilizing our strong network of aftermarket parts suppliers to procure scarce parts that may be past their end of life and warranty service. When hardware is obsolete, we utilize advanced 3D-printing technology to engineer and manufacture custom, high-durability replacement components in-house. Once fully refurbished and rigorously tested, the asset rejoins our strategic inventory, meticulously stocked to match our customers' ongoing technology footprints.

Circular Economy & Recycling
When an asset legitimately reaches its true end-of-life, we apply strict circular economy principles. Technicians harvest and catalog all functional, salvageable components to repair future devices. Any remaining unsalvageable materials are safely routed to certified electronic recycling partners, ensuring zero-landfill optimization.

Conclusion
The Repair Depot provides a dual advantage: safeguarding business continuity through rapid deployment and IT device useful life extension while driving meaningful e-waste reduction. Since 2017, our depot has successfully extended the lifecycle of over 3,500 critical IT assets.
